Revision and Intervention

All Year 11 students are provided with a revision guide list which directs them to the most appropriate guides for each subject. Teachers use these revision guides to support learning in lessons, for home learning and revision.

 

MyTutor is used as part of the National Tutoring Programme, and students are invited to these sessions to support their learning in Maths, English and Science.

 

There is a robust Raising Standards process, with RAP meetings identifying specific areas for improvement for students across their subjects. Teachers then work to support these students in lessons.

 

An intervention schedule runs each week, starting in September. Currently, there is targeted intervention running – students will have been invited to specific subject grade booster sessions that focus on their areas for improvement, but are encourage to attend further sessions:
