Ebbsfleet Academy is thrilled to announce the launch of it’s new Peer Mentoring Program, designed to empower students to support and guide one another, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. This program pairs older, experienced students with younger students, creating a network of support and encouragement that benefits both mentors and mentees.
For mentees, this means personalized guidance from their mentors, helping them navigate academic challenges, social situations, and personal growth. Mentees also gain increased confidence knowing they have a trusted peer to turn to for advice and support, and experience improved well-being through a sense of belonging and connection. Mentors, on the other hand, develop valuable leadership skills, including communication, empathy and problem-solving. They experience personal growth through helping others and making a positive impact on their school community and gain an enhanced sense of responsibility and pride in their role as a support system for younger students.
