Dear Year 6 Families,

Ebbsfleet Academy are delighted to offer a Saturday School which will offer a blend of academic learning and enrichment activities to all students who will be joining Year 7 in September 2023.

This opportunity is an integral part of our transition package and, in addition, the Saturday School will provide an opportunity for:

  • Students to learn new skills and take part in new activities
  • Improved physical and mental health, wellbeing and educational engagement
  • Support for disadvantaged and vulnerable students
  • Aid transition for our new Year 7 students through forging relationships with new teachers and familiarising themselves with our school.

The Saturday School is offered FREE OF CHARGE and will take place on Saturday 8th October and Saturday 15th October between 10.00am and 12.00 noon. It is open to all students regardless of whether they intend to attend Ebbsfleet Academy in the future.

The students will participate in a fun programme of activities which will enable them to discover a sense of enjoyment through active new sports, and learn practical skills to aid wellbeing.

While in school students will be required to remain within their group, and will be accompanied by a teacher(s) at all times. Students may wear their own clothes, which should be suitable to undertake physical activity including trainers. Students should bring water and a pen; all other equipment will be provided.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this exciting opportunity for your child, who is due to join Year 7 in September 2023. Please complete the online registration form, which can be found here as soon as possible. Alternatively, simply paste into your internet browser to be taken to our online booking form.

If you have any questions about the Saturday School, or have any problem completing the online form, please do not hesitate to contact me via email

We look forward to your child participating in our Saturday School.

Yours sincerely,
