World Record set at Ebbsfleet Academy!

This photo provides a broad view of the kitchen space, showing multiple stations where students are working. Some students are at the counters preparing ingredients, while others appear to be standing by ovens or sinks. Several laptops are visible on the counters, suggesting they might be following recipes or instructions electronically. The overall atmosphere seems to be one of busy, collaborative learning.

On Tuesday 1st July, 17 students volunteered to come in on the inset day to take part in an attempt to break the world record for the world’s biggest cookery lesson. A huge thank you to all who participated, but especially to Ms Dickman, Mrs Andrews, Mrs Blackley and Ms Coyne for their support in setting up and running the event.

We did it! I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve broken the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest cookery lesson (multiple venues) ever. It just goes to show what an impact we can have when we come together to celebrate the joy of learning how to cook. We couldn’t have done it without everyone who joined the class – so thank you, each and every one of you, and cheers to us!” – Jamie Oliver
