Ebbsfleet Academy is delighted to share the results of this year’s GCSE results. Figures indicate exceptional achievements across a range of subjects with a continuing improving trend in KS4 results. This is a significant success considering the challenges the academy has faced over the last academic year.
Ebbsfleet Academy is driven to ensure that all students go on to the further education or career pathways of their choice and at the time of going to press all students, completing their GCSE studies this summer have achieved the grades they need to take up their EA6 place, other educational options or employment offers.
This year’s Year 11 cohort has been a very resilient group. The teaching and pastoral teams have thoroughly enjoyed working with them and there have again been some exceptional individual performances across the range of subjects which include:
Theo, May, Mitchell, Precious, Gray, Aleyna, Damir, Aashna, Mikan, Henry and Nilkolia, who between them secured an impressive seventy-six grade 7-9 passes across a range of subjects including maths, English, science, history, RE and languages. They will now go onto study A levels.
Notable individual achievements include:
- Mitchell: an amazing eight passes, six of which were at grade 9, and two at grade 8;
- Damir: a very impressive ten passes, five of which were at grade 9;
- Mikan: a fantastic set of results with nine passes all above grade 7, five of these were grade 9;
- Nilkolia: a very impressive set of results, with ten passes all above grade 7, five of which were grade 9;
Principal, Gurjit Kaur Shergill commented,
“Our young people have experienced a significant amount of change and disruption over the past few years and these outcomes are yet again a demonstration of the firm belief embedded in the academy that there is no ceiling to what our young people can achieve. They represent the hard work, determination and fortitude demonstrated by our students on a daily basis. For every one of our students, whether they are taking up a place in our EA6 Sixth Form provision, moving on to another educational context, starting an apprenticeship or pursuing a different pathway, we are pleased that these results represent an exceptional start and will ensure their success for the future.
