Our EA6 curriculum for 2024/25 will help to prepare you for an EPIC future in a career of your choice or at university. You will have a choice of a range of A-level and vocational courses to suit you, and ensure you future academic and career success.

Students will study either core maths – which provides functional maths skills which will be useful for a range of subjects including psychology, biology, chemistry and business – or the Extended Project Qualification – which allows students the opportunity to develop their research skills and consolidate their ability to learn independently. Each of these qualifications is worth an additional AS grade and will therefore provide students with additional UCAS points.

Students also have free choice across the five option blocks, but can only select one option from each block.

The option blocks are:

Option A
Sociology
Law
Chemistry
Textiles

Option B
Geography
Psychology
BTEC Sport
Maths

Option C
English Literature
BTEC Computing
Economics
Health & Social Care

Option D
History
Biology
Business
Spanish

Option E

EPQ
