It is our pleasure to share information about another set of excellent grades for students at Ebbsfleet Academy.

After examinations were cancelled for the last two years we are pleased to share our first full set of results with formal examinations for our Sixth Form (EA6) students.

Figures indicate some outstanding achievements across a range of subjects with an ongoing improving upward trend in our fourth year of results here at EA6.

Ebbsfleet Academy is driven to ensure that all students go on to the University or career pathways of their choice and at the time of going to press all students, completing their sixth form studies at the Academy this summer have achieved the grades they need to take up their university, apprenticeship or employment offers.

This year’s cohort has been a particularly focused group, but we also wish to highlight how highly regarded they are as positive, resilient, engaged members of the school and wider community. The teaching and pastoral teams have enjoyed working with them and, despite the unprecedented challenge faced again this year, there have been some exceptional individual performances across the range of subjects which include:

Iulisa A gaining A grades for the extended project qualification (EPQ) and A level history as well as B grades in A Level biology and psychology.  Iulisa is going on to Portsmouth University to study biology.  Iulisa said “I am so glad I came back to the Ebbsfleet family from the Grammar school, you have changed my life!”.

Riccardo S, achieved an A grade in Italian and secured a B grade in his finance and C grades for business studies, history and the EPQ.  Riccardo is off to study accountancy and finance at Solent University.

Martyna T gained amazing A grades for A level polish and finance and a B grade for A level biology.  She also secured two C grades for her A level psychology and EPQ.  She said “I am so happy to have achieved these grades, thank you to all the staff at Ebbsfleet for your support”.  Martyna is off to Poland to study psychology at University.

Gurjit Kaur Shergill, Principal, stated, “ These outcomes are yet again a demonstration of the firm belief embedded in the Academy that there is no ceiling to what our young people can achieve. They represent the hard work, determination and fortitude demonstrated by our students on a daily basis. For every one of our students, whether they are taking up a University place or starting an apprenticeship or pursuing a different pathway, we are pleased that these results represent an exceptional start and will ensure their every success for the future. Congratulations to all our students and on behalf of the whole Ebbsfleet Academy family, we wish you the very best for the future!”
