Your next steps

Choosing the right educational path for your 6th form studies is a pivotal decision that shapes your future academic and career success. At EA6, we are committed to providing an enriching and supportive environment where students can excel both academically and personally over the next two years.

This year, we are excited to announce our transition from A Levels to the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). The IBCP offers a unique blend of academic rigor and vocational learning, equipping students with the skills needed for higher education and employment. This program combines at least two IB Diploma Programme subjects with a core curriculum that includes personal and professional skills, service learning, language development, and a reflective project. Additionally, students engage in vocational studies tailored to their interests.

We are incredibly proud to offer our students three new subjects: Global Politics, Travel and Tourism, and Medical Science.

  • Global Politics: This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of political concepts and international relations, fostering analytical skills and global awareness. It prepares students for careers in diplomacy, international organisations, or political analysis.
  • Travel and Tourism: This subject explores the dynamic world of travel and tourism, focusing on business operations, customer service, and sustainable practices. It equips students with the knowledge needed for careers in hospitality management, tourism marketing, or event planning.
  • Medical Science: Our Medical Science qualification is particularly noteworthy as it will be taught by two doctors. This course offers in-depth insights into human biology, healthcare practices, and medical research, preparing students for careers in medicine, nursing, or biomedical sciences.

The IBCP not only prepares students for university but also enhances their employability through its emphasis on practical skills and global awareness. Universities worldwide recognise the IBCP for its comprehensive approach to education. Furthermore, students with an IB qualification have statistically higher chances of enrolling in top-tier universities and achieving first-class honours degrees compared to their A Level counterparts.

We invite you to join us on this exciting journey with the IBCP at EA6. Your educational experience here will be enriched by diverse learning opportunities that prepare you for success in a globalised world. We look forward to supporting you in your next steps toward a bright future.
